FREDERICK, Md. (March 14, 2025) –The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on March 13, 2025, at approximately 7:40 PM in the area of Crestwood Boulevard and Rosebay Court.
Deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle and arrived on the scene to find the victim, identified as 67-year-old Rosemarie Lillian Richardson, suffering from severe injuries. Preliminary witness statements indicate that Mrs. Richardson was attempting to cross Crestwood Boulevard while carrying groceries when she was struck by a white BMW.
Deputies immediately rendered aid while awaiting the arrival of EMS personnel. Mrs. Richardson was flown to an area trauma center where she later died from her injuries.
