WALKERSVILLE, Md. (March 17, 2025) –On March 13, 2025, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) executed a residential search warrant at a home in the 8000 blk of Fortune Place in Walkersville, MD, as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession of child pornography.
The investigation began on January 15, 2025, when detectives received and reviewed four tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) containing child sexual abuse material. Warrants were obtained for the associated accounts, which revealed approximately three dozen illicit files.
As a result of the investigation, Kodi James Harrison, 30, of Walkersville, was taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He has been charged with 45 counts of possession of child pornography.

It is a constantly increasing type of serious criminal activity. Our ICAC section is aggressively identifying and targeting internet predators while working to protect children and other vulnerable individuals in Frederick County,” said Sheriff Jenkins.
The FCSO Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Section works in partnership with the Frederick County Cyber Crimes Task Force with a mission to investigate, apprehend, and prosecute internet sexual predators who exploit children using the internet and technology, consistent with Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force standards and procedures.
